When David died his estate was passed to his sister, noted interior designer Frances Elkins. She decided to donated the property to the Village of Libertyville on the condition that it be used as a cultural and recreational center. Eventually the David Adler Memorial Park Association was formed. It is now a park and the home of the Adler Arts Center. |
